Is Khlass free?
Yes, to get started: 3 invoices, 3 quotes and 3 credit notes free, in total (not per month), with every feature. PDFs on the free plan carry a “Khlass.ma” watermark. Drafts are unlimited.
How much does Khlass cost?
The Unlimited plan costs MAD 10 per month or MAD 100 per year (2 months free). Unlimited documents and PDFs without watermark. You pay online by card.
Can I stop whenever I want?
Yes. No automatic renewal: you pay for a month or a year, and your plan stays active until its end date. If you don’t renew, you simply go back to the free plan without losing anything.
What is the MAD 80,000 per-client threshold?
Above MAD 80,000 collected from the same professional client in Morocco in a year, that client withholds 30% at source on the excess. Foreign clients and individuals don’t apply it. Khlass tracks this threshold for every Moroccan professional client (with an ICE).
Do my clients need an account?
No. You send them the document by email (with the PDF attached) or a secure link they open right in their browser.
Can I invoice foreign clients?
Yes. Each client has their own country, currency and language. Your documents can be generated in French or English.
Can I invoice in EUR or USD?
Yes: MAD, EUR, USD, GBP or CAD. Payments received in a foreign currency are converted to MAD by your bank; Khlass tracks them in MAD at the rate of the payment date for your ceilings and tax. You can adjust the rate if needed.
Does Khlass replace an accountant?
No. Khlass is a management tool that helps you invoice and keep track of your limits. It doesn’t replace advice from an accountant or legal professional, nor your official filings. CSV and ZIP exports make working with your accountant easier.
Is Khlass an official government service?
No. Khlass is an independent service. It is not published by, affiliated with or endorsed by the Moroccan administration. Tax filings and payments are always made through the official services.
